Accurate boost readings from MAP sensor; what sum to use??
#1
Hello techies
I'm trying to make a simple excel page so that i can accurately read the boost in psi from the voltage output of the MAP sensor.
I also want to set myself a target of differing boost levels, for example
If i want 15.5 psi held what sum do i use to get the voltage and visa versa.
I have read the various posts on the subject and none show the calculations i would need to enter for the varying ranges from 0.8v to 4.52 (-1bar to 1.5bar).
Cheers
Iain

I posted about this on here or I-club recently. Will try and find link for you.
Bob Rawle said -1.0 to 1.8 bar linear 0.88 to 4.84V. Also see the DIY FCD thread for some figures which back this up, as well as my own figures.
