Have you tried puting the std hoses back on?
What was the effect?

Try an ECU reset to clear any fault codes and see if it does it still How to reset the ECU

sounds as though you have overboosted and the ECU has gone into "safe mode", r u using a knocklink or AFR, as possible it was detting and thats why the ECU cut it, run ECU check codes and try a reset would be my thoughts.

Sounds like you have a split pipe or similar. The ECU should not be able to control the boost if you are using the dawes instead of the boost solenoid.

And get a knocklink anyway unless you want a rebuild.
