XBOXOne Streaming windows 10
So i was unaware of this little gem, but my mate was round last night buying one of my Ipad Air 2 from me and mentioned it.
What a revelation.
Like PSTV but better
The App is part of Windows 10 all you do is switch on xbone, open app on PC/Surface etc connect controller to said device VIA USB like you would when initially mapping the controller to the console and click stream game
Awesome, been playing Forza 6 on my 5k retina pin perfect....Makes buying a surface worthwhile now lol.....

Yep as long as it runs windows 10.... and sits on the same Network as your Xbox. best to have it hardwired if streaming. But i played forza 6 this morning and it was as good as sat in front of it...
This and the backwards compatibility is what is now making me consider an xbone. I still want to see prices drop further as I think they will in the run up to Christmas.
Being able to play anywhere in the house and still have the TV on to watch is a very good feature in my opinion.

I finally bit, xbone + forza 6 + fifa 16 and extra controller for £250. The streaming is the one thing that did it for me absolutely superb as I can now play whilst sat in my study or whilst on the sofa on my laptop and still have the TV on.
Also you don't need to plug the controller into the pc, if you are within range of the xbone I just leave mine connected wirelessly to that and works fine.
And it works on old hardware, my Son can stream Fifa to his old IBM T400 laptop and it plays perfectly, just a brilliant feature.
