Hello everyone!

I am warning people against the purchasing of any type of car from a site called www.veilside.co.uk

Here is the thread to read why and if you can spread the word the quicker he will be driven out of business, the quicker I might get my money back and others will not be 'ripped' off'.

http://www.lancerregister.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=23565

In a nutshell I was taken for £4,000 and they sell deathtraps, that is my opinion and is based on true facts. I am taking legal action and have contacted the police, VAT and trading standards.

Please take a moment to read it and then pass the link on so that others can see.

Many thanks,

Matty.

i wonder what veilside think about their name being used... its a registered trademark and they have companies in us and japan, so id assume its internationally registered.

Thanks guys!

The more people that know the better!

The less chance this joker has of selling cars the better, people like him give 'good importers' a bad name.

I don't want someone else to be ripped off like I have been.

Regards,

Matty.

I have come across this before on another bbs, its all to easy to go with the crowd and ridicule veilside. Have all the facts been uncovered?

As far as i remember Matty didnt acctually buy a car from veilside nor did he have any dealing with them.

From what i read i was lead to beleive Matty was taking legal action about 18 months ago. What happened?

Matty please try to take into account I'm not against you nor am i amused by people getting ripped off, I just feel that there is 2 sides to every story.

I understand where you are coming from and see your point but the facts speak for themselves, and I now have proof that Veilside and Sahill Motors were the same company but used the Sahill Motors name as a cover.

I'm just wondering how many times they may have done this to other people?

I stopped taking the legal action 18 months ago due to not having all information that I needed, I now have this and see no reason not to persue the matter in the right way.

Regards,

Matty.

Talking

I am in the process of buying a car from these guys. I have just bought a 2000 model type rs RX7. It has just landed in Tilbury, and will hopefully on the road in the next couple of weeks.

So far they have been more than professional with my purchase, and despite the slagging they are receiving I am not worried.

I think it is sour grapes, but without hearing both sides of the story I wont comment. I along with others have never had problems. One guy said he lost his deposit, but that was due to changing his mind on a car. Not fair grounds to give them a hammering I feel.

So in my opinion NO WARNING NECESSARY

Which bit of the post did you not read.........where was the deposit and where did I change my mind??

I took back the very unroad worthy 300ZX and he left me out of pocket by £4,000.........

Sour grapes? No mate just pure hard facts.

So if someone does this to you and you complain, would that be sour grapes? I think not, I hope nothing happens to you like this.

Sure your not Tooko/Andi/Clifford/Malik/Whatever trying to get some credability back??

Matty.

No I promise you I am far from anything to do with the company.

Go on to my photo site if you want to see my car, its on yahoo photos under Atom290, there is a few pics of my Atom there to.

I am sorry if it is the case you have been ripped off and treated in an unjust way. And thank you for your well wishing.
