Have used them in the past.Service was very good and I have no complaints. I've read on various forums though that people have had problems with the after sales service should you have a need to return something (A bit like EBuyer I guess who I've also used and never had any probs although I've never had to return anything to them either)

Good luck

I use them all the time as they are within about 10 miles of work. Use both mail order and popping in. It is a good setup and touch wood I havent had any problems yet. Delivery is usually quite quick as well

Good prices and often next day delivery (if you order before 3ish)

Only had 1 problem with a return - in the end took it to their 'shop' and they swapped a faulty DVD-Writer without issue.

Oh, and another good thing is they pack things very well for shipping - so you get your goodies without broken bits - something ebuyer used ot be terrible with on cases.

DON'T USE THEM.

I have ordered from them twice, both multiple hundred pound orders and they either cocked up the order or sent DOA stuff. Managed to get the correct stuff after a month of arguments , only to have the graphics card from my second order sent without the cooling fan connected, that then being replace with another card which went up the spoout within 4 months.

CRAP

to be honest messing up orders is crap, but unfortunately it happens in any warehouse environment, you have just been unlucky that its happened twice.
You cant blame them for doa stuff and things breaking. They are a supplier, not a manufacturer

I don't mind people messing up orders now and again....but if they do, it should be put right with the minimum of hassle.

I've only ever had one non-working thing from Aria....that was a big hassle to replace.

Use them a fair bit - pretty good IMHO.
Don't get me started on Ebuyer

They're ok as long as you don't have to send anything back - it took them 8 months to sort me out with a £100 credit note. I would not buy anything else from them in the future.

No problems with Aria in the past, but I haven't used them for about 6 months, so I don't know if that has changed.

That said the last two times I've used ebuyer, I had had notices that the items had shipped. Despite the dispatched date on the system, items were out of stock, so nothing had actually left the warehouse! They are cheap, but we all know customer service will be the first place to suffer!

There not bad but if the thing breaks then youre stuffed, either waiting ages for a replacement, manufacturers warranty or taking it back and standing in the returns dept.

There cheap and cheerful, box shifters.

You get what you pay for!

hmmmm just had my first problem with them, upgraded my mobo, processor and got some ocz ram. Turns out the ram wasnt compatible with the abit mobo, didnt advise of this when I bought it. Exchanged it the following day with no hassles for some corsair, and the guy said in the returns that the ocz memory is not suitable for the abit boards as they are very picky when it comes to ram.

why would they advise it tho'? Did you tell them that you would be using the RAM on the mobo? If not, they would just see you ordering some kit for whatever use you wished to put it to.

"Exchanged it the following day with no hassles for some corsair,"

This is good isn't it?

As far as I can see - that's GOOD customer service.

I use Aria regularly and never had a problem with them. When stuff has been DOA it's been sorted very quickly.

I wouldn't touch Ebuyer with a bargepole right now. They've had their credit limits reduced heavily by their suppliers and the insurance companies of their 2 major suppliers have refused to cover their credit at all. Add to this the fact that they haven't filed their accounts due 2 months ago...

if i worked there (i used to work at microdirect many many years back) if somebody was buying a mobo, processor and memory at the same time, I would assume that there is a 99.9% chance that they were doing a new build, besides that the guy asked me if it was for a new build which I told him it was!

my only (minor) gripe is the lack of training or knowledge, takes 1 minute to say hmm if that ram is for that board it wont work.

The exchange went without a hitch, that was good customer svs, the sales though wasn't

Common theme throughout this thread is how many product from Aria actually fail and either replacements or refunds needed.

With poor service in replacement or refunds, it seems they want to take your money and not provide suitable support.

I will still NEVER EVER buy anything else from them, and would rather pay a few pounds more for reliable parts in the first place.
