Aria are doing 2TB Samsung Spinpoint Drives for £73+VAT
Must be new platter sizes coming soon.

Maybe they were. Can't see them now. Look like £88 now. But they're certainly coming down in price

Could you not use a small drive just for windoze and then use the 3TB drives for media-***** storage ?

The 2TB ones mentioned are only 5400rpm though .... laptop speed. But if loads of storage is all you want ....
