Recommend me a good PS2 game for <£20
I want a platform/action type game (can't quite place exactly what I want) that's easy to get into. Is the Narnia game ok? Looks niceish, like all the snow and scenery etc. If it makes sense, Jet Set ***** was my fav game as a kid as it just had loads of levels so if you get stuck, you can go do a different level. I like games that are playable like that. Maybe ones with puzzles to solve etc. One of my bugbears is where you get to a 'level' that you can't solve without looking it up on t'internet. The game should be 'figure-out-able' by myself, I can't be doing with games that take ages to get past one single point and don't give you any other options, I usually give up.
Games I'm thinking of
Resident Evil (which #?)
Silent Hill 4 (I've done 1 and 2 and 3 I think)
Narnia
Harry Potter ones?
No's (as I've already got them) are:
GTA VC
Getaway (both)
Silent hill 1,2,3
Hitman.

The Crash bandicoot games are good platformers... The earlier ones are IMHO better, the latter went all 3D and weird
Just got Timesplitters for £4.96 delivered...

Another vote for God of War here. It's one of the few games on the PS2 I didn't get completely bored of and finished!!!
ICO is being rereleased soon as well (17th Feb). Should be worth a look, as should its sequel, Shadow of the Colossus (released the same day)...

Keep them coming. There's so many games out there, it's hard to know which are good. Most mag reviews are 'of that time'. I'd rather reviews in 'hindsight' etc which are less hype and wow affected.
What's ICO?
Is silent hill 4: the room any good?

I'm a big fan of both the Silent Hill and the Resi Evil series.
I found Silent Hill 4 a little to 'same old, same old' just didn't feel any different from the other versions..
Resi Evil 4 on the other hand is one of the best games I have ever played ( albeit I played the Gamecube version ) kept me occupied for nearly 30hours to complete and then it unlocked several new missions.. Great Game...

By far, the best game I have ever played, totally un-put-downable. Amazing scenery, fighting, puzzles.its got the lot, and very frustrating in places.
get it bought!
