Torrents work by poeple seeding. A seeder is someone who has a full copy of the itme you want and is online and willing to share. The more seeders the better the download speed.

Having a quick look at the torrent you are trying to download reveals that there are no seeders. Therefore it cant be downloaded or will take ages.

I'm using 4mb broadband and BitComet but it seems to be taking bloomin' ages! Is BitComet anygood or is it just because there aren't many people sharing or what? I'm new to all this torrent business so please be gentle with me .

Cheers

Azureus is by far the best bit-torrent client.

Runs on a java platform and is fully configurable ... for instance you can queue up torrents to start automatically when others have finished etc

Azereus has been surpassed by Utorrent , its smaller , faster , and less CPU intensive ..

Gary, How do you find the speed of Azarues on OS X? I've got BitTorrent 4.2.0 running and it seems ok. Only really need it to download the TG files from finalgear.

Markus,
Pretty good actually, tbh I find most java stuff runs better on OS X than it does on Wintel anyway.

It's all good. I repented my sins earlier this year, I'm an ex tax dodger.

I'm thinking about taking up petty theft for New Year, I'm fed up with being in the dark ages and want to join EXSCOOBYS gang. Why should we pay for things we can get for free? A bit of benefit fraud might be on the cards as well.
