IMO anyone with half a brain wouldn't be using any P2P.

There are far better sources.

Before this thread gets locked............It's no big secret.

Newsgroups..........constant speeds, never get kicked, no fake files, legally subscribe to a newserver and legally download what you want, of course what you do after you d/l anything is up to you.

People moved away from P2P a long time ago, IRC is also a no no nowadays.

Try these guys - www.easynews.com - you can sign up for a free trial. I like them, but generally your ISP should carry the newsgroups might filter them though and only offer certain groups or content.

I use www.claranews.net

I find them the most reliable, £11.99 pm unlimited, your allowed 3 connections @ 512k per connection = 1.5meg which I have, the only problem with clara is retention, it's about 4-5 days, Astraweb are also very good and a bit cheaper but not as reliable, they allow a max speed of 2meg.

I also use newsbin pro as my newsreader, the latest versions are far better and can now handle all of the "big" groups.

It's worth every penny

PS. The problem with easynews is the price, $10 for 6gig, that wouldn't last me 5 mins.

I was hoping for a newsgroup recommendation - not a news provider.
