Question Nero V6 (for £7)

Looking at getting the above, dabs etc are at £55ish, ebay shows loads at £7 !!!!
(http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...2&category=191) Presumably pirated copies, otherwise what's the catch ?

judging by the pic in the ad it looks like a genuine Nero 6 cd. I'm in the PC manufacturing business and the cd in the pic looks exactly the same as the Nero you get bundled with some new DVD-RW drives. The Sony's we use definately come with them. The seller must have access to a large stock of these. The bit they've blanked out on the bottom shows the serial number.

I would download, but on a dial up it'd probably cost more than £7 !

Bit of a no brainer then, £7 v's £50.... I'll chance ebay
(Unless anyone wants to offload a copy cheaper !)

Thanks,

D

Dunk,
I've bought an Ebay copy - they are marked for dist. with PC only.
I guess there was a batch left over and they are being flogged cheap.
If they are a copy then they are done very well.
I've had no problem installing and registering mine.

If its Nero Express, then they can be found for that price from many computer stores.

If its the full Nero, then someone's been a bit naughty selling you it.

Sounds like it is an OEM copy of Nero, which should only be sold when bought with hardware.

The disc is labelled as OEM suite 2 with 7 programs on it.
Perhaps I'd better keep quiet about it now if its dodgy.

How about I give you £6 for it to ease your conscience & to allow closure
