Unhappy

Please Help!!

I could not get my Nero working after I re-installed my OS a couple of months ago. I kept getting stuck when burning. Bought Nero Express (Original copy) and now this one is doing the same thing. What am I doing wrong????

what do you mean keep getting stuck what type of discs are you trying to burn i.e data, audio etc

When it starts its simulation the top bar goes up to between 97 - 100% and the bottom bar to show how much is completed gets stuck on 5 % At first I thought it was just going to take a long time but I waited half an hour and it still had not moved

The CD's I've been using are TDK CD -R74 and Verbatim CD-R. I've changed nothing and I am doing nothing different when it used to work.

is it a total lock up or can you cancel nero and then carry on, my writer gets to atleast 5% before it even starts to write to the disc, i don't use simulation had a look on nero faq and these links might help

No it lets me abort the burning process, but I have to use the windows task manager to shut it down
