Ok I have a Plextor 24x CDRW drive. Ive been using Nero for nearly a year on this drive and NEVER burnt a CD that doesnt work.

I just bought some 48x Verbatim Datalife Plus CDRs from blankdiscshop.com - a spindle of 50.

I use NERO and burn a divx file - the burning goes fine, I then try the file from the CD and it plays fine. I take CD out put it back in and it just hangs as if it cant read CDR (drive light is solid amber).

Ive updated Nero to latest edition. Ive burnt several films at lower speeds (i.e. not 24x top whack) and still the same.

Getting a bit peed off now with the 5 drinks coasters I now have.

Any ideas people?

Thanks,
Simon.

Hmm tricky...

I have 6 dvd-r and a few cdr coasters so far....

Had problems buring bin/cue files out using Nero, tried Fireburner and that has worked for some bin/cue files.

Hmmm managed to sort it. Just selected all the settings manually and didnt use the wizard and its all sweet again. Just wasted about 8 cdrs though lucky they were cheap.
