How can you do a complete hard reset on an Ipaq? I upgraded ROMv2.0 to v2.10 and the SD card no longer works - tried the SD card fix to no avail. If you do a soft reset then error message pop up "Cflashman" and "aflashman" cannot be found, so I am not convinced that the ROM upgrade worked. I have tried going through the upgrade process again, but still get the same error.

there should be a sliding switch underneath (the opposite side to the reset button)

this should take it back to factory defaults

I think you need to hold in the left and right bottom application buttons, whilst holding down the power switch, and pressing in the reset button.

or something like that.

If the ROM is stuffed, I recommend iPaqRepair

Used them when I shafted my 3630 due to a buggy version of the Linux bootloader. Good service and not too bad on price.

Hope it doesn't come to that though!

Like Burr said, do a full reset, if that still doesn't work re-install the ROM.

cheers,

Greg

btw gameboy Sonic went down a treat! Had to pretend I'd given it back as she kept asking to play it!
