Yes, it's to do with my other thread, normal IT stuff, one questions answer generates another etc
I've unzipped stuff ( OOer! ) more by accident than design though to be fair, never had to zip summat up though. The state of affairs at my end is as follows:
I've downloaded the driver to my desktop............that's it
So what's next?

Thread hijack alert - how do you get round the password if your mate has forgotten it on the zip file he has created (doh - it contains all me stag weekend details).
Mikey - when you click add in Winzip, in the next box that comes up, look in the lower right hand corner and there is a password button. Click that and you are away..

I presume being un registered doesn't help my cause
Mikey <Caught out again Used Winzip to open stuff for years and always wondered why someone would need to register. Guess I found out today >

You can still use Winzip if it's unregistered.
Open Winzip
Click "new"
Choose a new file name and location (a: )
Click OK
Click Add
Select compression = maximum
Choose safe mode for disk spanning
Choose file to add (your driver file)
Click Add
"That's all there is to it"
Forgot to say, if the driver file is a self extracting setup file, then it's probably not going to compress much (and may end up slighty bigger) so have two discs ready.

Hi Hanslow
Thought I'd get away with this one before you came to take the pi55
Still not happening dudes, I'll give up on this one As for reading the help thingy, It's all a load techno babble, I like to know how things work, it helps me remember what i need to do next time. Reading a load of stuff that requires me to look in the glossary every 2 minutes etc, well...............it's easier to ask you guys for help to be honest.
Mikey <Remember, we can all talk about lift off oversteer, but until you've experienced it, you can shut up >
