Is there a facility in RedHat Linux to do NIC multipathing, similar to whats available with Solaris (IPMP) ???

Do you mean channel aggregation? Where you use 2 (or more) NICs as a single virtual connection? If so, just Google for 'channel aggregation' and 'linux' ...

If not, ignore the above ....
