I've got the 504. Probably similar . . . maybe.
Just setup Port Redirection for the two ports listed in the EDonkey settings. One UDP and one TCP.
Simliar to this.
The same applies to most other pieces of software that require certain ports to be opened for them.

Thought it might
Right, in the Edonkey settings, go to Network and make a note of the UDP and TCP port it wants (at the bottom).
Then in your Port Redirection bit of the router setup:
Set the protocol to TCP
Leave the 'Internet' bit alone
Enter the number you wrote down earlier (for TCP) in both start and end ports.
Enter the IP address assigned to your PC
Click Add
Do the same again for the UDP number.
Apply, reboot the router and you're off

how do i know my IP address - will that be be the IP address I get when I do the test from the edonkey website, or is it the same IP as my router - the one I put in the address bar to access the router settings?

BTW, the edonkey test on their site doesn't work for me, but I can connect to the EDonkey servers as well as the Overnet servers after making this change.
Which is a good thing I reckon
