Chrome,
If you've got the null/modem serial cable then it should be working. What baud rate haeve you selected in the TT GPS Driver ? a I found this on the RA site
"To check which firmware version is loaded press the DELETE and STORE buttons at the same time. After VER is displayed a number will be shown indicating the firmware version. Versions 103 and 104 output data at 9600bps, versions 118 and 119 output at 4800bps. It is possible to upgrade the firmware, please contact us for further details."

hi guys.
nick -ok.
Michael; I have tried using the gps setting on the IPAQ as follows:
TomTomGPS
COm1 - nothing
TomTomGPS
Com3: nothing
NMEA 183 v2 9600bps
Com1 - nothing except massive slowdown..
NMEA 183 v2 9600bps
Com3 - nothing except massive slowdown..
NMEA 183 v2 4800bps
Com1- nothing except massive slowdown..
NMEA 183 v2 4800bps
Com3- nothing except massive slowdown..
I have set the RA to output gps data via serial: middle button til GPS displays, then delete to show 5bars, then store.
As told to me by Blackspot techie.
Still nothing
Getting rather naffed off.. reckon it must be summat to do with the cable..
Even GPS assist and Itravel confirm that the GPS unit is not detected..
I have yet to try rigging the RA to my PC at work (cable lives thwere for broadband updates etc)but I will try it (using supplied PC serial cable from blackspot and using hyperterminal to confirm that it is outputting GPS data..
getting rather p*ssed off with it all tbh..
