Just taken upgrade to 1mbit cable at home. Own up, who's spoilt enough to have anything faster at home...

2 meg adsl here, though over the last few weeks its become oversubscribed and the isp cant cope with the number of adsl users they've taken on....

I do wonder what will happen when everyone gets ADSL and then questions why it is so slow. 20:1 or 50:1 contention? Should be some interesting stories from thes ISPs

It wont be long before BT's monopoly on leased lines is thwarted with the amount of fibre RailTrack have under their railway lines. That should bring the price down nicely.

I got 2meg ADSL, with 20:1 user ratio.

The only good thing about is my pings of 20-30 when playing CS

When I first had Tele2 installed, it ran at 4Mb ... until they capped it three days later

at mo i have 2mbit on telewest, but a flick of a switch will make it uncapped, beat that. (not strictly legit tho)

I only have the 512kb line (1mb to expensive for my usage) and I get pings of around 30-50 on UT.
