Me too! mate.
I think it will all come together at once just need to get some more parts it seems never ending .
Didn't realise how much money you actually need to do something like this i think so far including the purchase of the car iv'e spent best part of 8k already.
I'm glad i took on the project because im enjoying every minute of it,i think its all about the process of building your own car and having fun doing it, then taking it on the track and taking it to the limit safetly.

I understand that feeling, I spent £2k last year for stage 1, about to blow a couple of grand on a respray and then I reckon I need another £3.5k for stage 2, and that's on top of the other bits I've done over the years

Don't sell her Lee,I have been through the exact same thoughts very recently with my own car with my HG failing due to a rubbed through lower rad hose.
I came to the decision to keep it and rebuild when I find the time with a few extra mods of course,be rude not too

You've got a nice project going there mate and I for one want to see it completed
Good luck which ever way you go with it Lee

Removed both front doors and stripped out all the mechanism for the electric winders ,i then removed the glass and marked where i was to cut with a grinder to remove excess metal fron door ,these will be covered with plastic door cards i have made.
I did the two front doors but the backs i will totally remove even the handles as these will not be used at all.
I also disconnected the 2 heater pipes that go throught the bulkhead to the matrix and removed the heater as this will not be needed.

Just holding up on big tyraps for now but eventually going for lexan windows !
The tyraps are actually doing a good job, but my mechanic has done this before and he put a bracket in with 10mm bolts to hold the window in the right position.
just a temporary measure for now but will be sorted, had to go down this route as CC pushed the windows down and as i cut out all the wiring couldnt get them back up so had to get in to reposition the windows to seal them.

Definatly need to get hold of some lexan windows ,these will be easier to fix in position than the glass windows.
I emailed www.plastics4performance.com and they havn't returned my email as yet.
anyone got some pics of these fitted would help me a lot.

Removed the heater matrix today so i could get underneath to remove the last bit of sound deadening ready for interior spray.
Loads of space now behind the dash couldnt beleive how much crap subaru put there out of the way.
Exhaust removed ready for new revoloution system a bit more track friendly than the custom made 5" tailpipe that was on it

Also removed the fuel lines that run inside the car as these are going to be replaced with braided lines clipped neatly inside after interior spray.
Just the x2 brake lines to remove now then just about ready for paint .
