Sourced some 440cc injectors from a low mileage turbo 200 and have sent them to mark at lateral to be flow matched to 900cc or there abouts.

wiring is getting started a week on sat but been a slow process having been let down so many times .

Auto sparky has been today and refitted the loom to where it should be ,had to first remove the dash again to allow access to fixing bolts of the loom.
Then we installed 2 new 35mm tri rated battery cable to enable the battery isolator to isolate the complete car in case of emergency and when not in use.

All that is needed to do next week is fit the push button start via a relay wire the bosch o44 fuel pump via a relay and switch with indicator lights and refit the injectors when they return from lateral.

The wiring is now in place and new isolator switch is now wired in 35mm tri rated cable so will now shut off the electrical supply to the car.The dash had to come out again but was really easier to make better access .

I fitted 2 stuffing glands in the grommets to feed new battery cable through as you can see in the picture.

The push button and relay and the fuel pump relay will be fitted next sat so far so good.

What size are your wheels?

How are you finding the boot fittings, my boot rattles all over the place and i would greatly like it not to rattle ha, are all the hinges and the torsion bar removed, what holds the bottom down near where the lock would be?

Thanks

Hi mate the wheels are 18" the boot is fasented down with 12mm boot pins that are very sturdy and boot springs that are riveted onto rear light quaters.

I removed all the spring hinges and torsion bar as you mentioned as they're not needed.
hope that helps you il put some pics up and show the rear boot springs tommorow.

cheers lee

I have been busy earning some extra cash rewiring the workshop but got ten minutes to fit some white door squares and fit the stickers i bought yonks ago just need my lucky number now !

The switches now work ignition 1,ignition 2 , high pressure pump and push button start just need to tidy rear loom and refit the dash i have made labels for the switches but still need to fit indication lights for instead of the bottom 4 switches as my original plan went out the window...!

As its been chucking it down all day and the misses wanting a lie in i thought i'd pop down the garage to iron out a few loose ends .
Started out by fitting the drivers door square and decals then decided to hoover the floor pan ready to fit the sticky back foot grip the stuff you put on aluminium steps to stop your foot slipping off worked a treat really.

I then fitted some door closers i ordered from a company that specialises in rally car parts i pot rivet them in place and work a treat.
I started to tie back with tie wraps unwanted wiring such as heater control and stereo wiring .
I then removed the x4 rocker switches to replace with indicator lamps when the arrive.

How much wiring loom are you going to have when finished?
I've been working on mine today and it's one time consuming task that i hope never to have to do again whilst the car is running and fully built.
It's slowly getting there but the worst of the loom behind the dash is real hard to tidy up as there is wires all over the place.
When i remove the alarm i am going to be completely stuck as the engines going to be immobilised.

Any news on them photographs of the bonnet setup with the pins and all?

Thanks

Most of the loom is still in just not plugged in to things such as heater, switches for operating wing mirrors etc... the rear loom is my next mission before its finally plugged in and the last tidying up to do before seat is bolted in.

I will post some pics of rear boot springs tommorow night when i get in from work mate are you removing the rear boot hinges as i did so boot totally lifts off ?
