I tried loads on Gez, but the one i liked was 2k ,i never got one today spent to much as it is got the gloves i wanted nice snug fit and thin /light weight.
The shoes (flat soles) was my concern but never had my size in so iv'e ordered 10's for postage when they get them in !
Im still looking at helmets but have an idea when the time is right but the trip there got me some good ideas even going to invest in a suit aswell nothing to expensive but the cheapest they do is £270.
The seats are fantastic it looked like musical chairs when i was there think i must have tried them all atleast once ,i asked him to get a brand new pro series XL out for me once i tried it new it was the one and a reasonable price copared to some especially the race tech ones at 2k each.
The pro series is very light considering its GRP with kevlar composite just the side rails are expensive which puts the costs up but a great day me and my lad had.
Hope you get yours soon would def recommend thanks for the heads up mate appreciate it .
just need the car back from rewire then on the final stages ready for remap !!!

To some it seems over the top but its what iv'e wanted to do for ages ,i have messed about with cars for years and even built my own cooper (1963) with a cage /oil cooler /guages seats but i was only 19/20 then this is a different league.
I know this engine isnt going to last long but what i have done is built the foundations for a great competion car that can and will get better, its kept me away from the pub and given me something to focus on aay from work.
Thanks for your comments and not long to go now looking forward to hearing it run again its been 10mths since i started it as you know thanks for reading it and il pass o the message to my mate dave top sprayer can make a rusty nail look good !!

good stuff mate. 2k for the helmet i wouldn't of even picked it up, too tempting.
Must admit, i do like looking at the suits in the catalouge. Might look a bit over the top for me but I bet they are comfy for driving all day.
I too was up and down like a yoyo on the seats, they must get used to see people looking silly doing that but it really does help having them all out.
Not too much longer until your done mate, can't wait to see the finished motor and hopefully meet up one day on a track day

I have been intouch with grimsby auto electrics and my car is ready to pick up on sat morning,so i can now get on with fitting the fuel system and new seat and a few other bits ready for the car to be set up .
New clutch and flywheel is getting fitted next week as my last one started to slip when it was live mapped late last year.

Had some bad news today car has been in with the auto electrician 4 weeks and was told he hasnt started it yet ,i picked the car up on the back of the trailor and brought it back as i had loads to do on it so here's my day.
First job was to start rolling the arches ready for fitting the new wheels and tyres, as i had started on installing the fuel system my mate dave turned up and was intrigued on how it was done so seemed the ideal candidate for the job ,he made it look easy a little at a time and has the patience of a saint cheers mate same time tommorow !
I started on installing the fuel hose by fitting the AN fittings on the teflon hose this was proving to be very difficult as they are tight as hell, so boiling the kettle several times and dipping the whole hose into the red hot water this just helped to slide the fittings inside the ptfe inner.
Cutting of the braided hose was done with a small air gun with a cutting disc after taping up the end to stop the end from fraying .
I must say the rolled arches are spot on ,i have raised the front suspension for now untill the geomtry has been set up but on full lock there is no rubbing and plenty of clearance.
I trial fitted the seat and fits fine

I did my rear arches before the respray with a hammer and dolly set, but never got around to doing the fronts - depending upon future wheel and suspension choices I may need to consider rolling them

Looking good Lee. You'll love the brakes mate, I did my first track day a few days back and they worked really well and I only had the K-Sport pads on.
Still jealous of the seat mate, mine are cutting into my thighs and not giving enough support, gotta get them asap.
Keep up the good work mate

Cheers Gez had to remove front calliper to allow access for sweeping action of roller .
I have the blue stuff pads in so il see how they perform need to get the car out when finished and get some milage in the clutch and brakes,il have to drive it up and down the farm road (private) a few times to get them bedded in .
The seat fits on the CC rails a treat was going to put it in but wiring needs doing as he has let me down !

Finished off as far as i could go with the fuel lines as i have ran out of An-6 hose so ordered 4m more to complete the setup.
My mate Dave finished rolling the other 2 arches while i fitted the front footwell kick plate .
Re-fitted the wiper arms and renewen a boost pipe from bottom of solenoid upto manifold as i have done away with the co2 emmissions canister that was mounted at the front drivers corner.
The suspension was wound up untill the geomtry is set up ready for its first outing at blyton for testing on the 10th dec (fingers crossed ) need to push on with the wiring starting next week.
