What sort of deals ?

I am currently running an MD321t on a forged 2.5 Hawkeye STI, wouldn't mind a little more power.

Hi,

the MD321 T is probably already pushing the limit of your liners, what sort of power are you running at the moment, any dyno printouts would help.

Cheers

Hi,

our new gearkit held up perfectly yesterday

It tolerated 18 launches, did a 0 to 60 in 2.68 seconds and a 0 to 100 in 5.71

Time to cost the kit up and release it on general sale

Cheers

cheers Banny

Looking forward to finding out the various cost options of these gearsets...will there be any form of guarantee?

Do they share any common parts with PPG boxes, billet selectors etc?

Did promise I would update this thread once we got the Billet 35R on to the dyno to see what figures the road map churned out.

Bit disappointing really (cue thump as Kev hits the floor) only got to 1.75bar before hitting a misfire.

The misfire was the only disappointment however Even at that boost it made 619bhp at 6900rpm (Dastek at Extreme)

We found the fault later, it was just a dodgy injector plug, so looking forward to getting it back to the dyno to get a power readout on the 1.9 bar map, then turn on the NOS

cheers

Andy

The first run was 644bhp but that seemed too high for the spec/boost and when investigated it was found that the rundown losses had been exagerated. Not sure how but apparently its quite common on the Dastek dyno's. Once corrected it dropped to 619bhp.

Sti 4 ported heads, HKS cams, std manifold ported. Don't have a copy of the graph, I was more interested in trying to find the misfire at the time but will post up the next one when we go back to get a number on the 1.9bar map.

Hi,

the SC46 Billet will easily do the job, or consider the SC40 Billet, (400 bhp) both can be run at lower boost to safe guard your current engine

When you do get your engine build I would suggest strokering it to 2.1, more capacity, as they say you cant beat cc's

Have you thought about your gearbox

Cheers
Kev
