Not bad for a direct fit budget turbo, at £750.00 + vat.

Hi,

Mods as follows..........

Up rated inlet pipe.
FMIC.
syvecs ecu.

Standard STI 8 engine with standard headers and up pipe.

Some engines work well, others not so well, this is a good one

Cheers

Not bad at all! What would you think this would run with a 20% Meth mix?

I think it's time ScoobyClinic tries these Billet turbo's on a LHD Scooby
That way we can 100% see wether they still function just as good !

I willing to be a guinea pig.

if i did go for one of your 2.1 stokers kev would hp and torque figures increase? And if so whats the max this turbo will do ? Ie 2.1 e85 or meth mix ? Just out of interest.....
So would it liven up my fri afternoon engine

Hi,

a 2.1 stroker and/or some quality fuel will always liven up your engine.

Remember though you have 410 bhp on a standard 2.0 ltr sti engine, its serious power when considering one that we fitted the same turbo to had a full up £6K forged build and did just 6 bhp more, thats a £1000.00 per HP.

You are now on a Syvecs ecu, when you have got used to the power we can fit a cal switch and map the car on a 10% meth mix, we can do another setting for E85 if you so choose.

cheers

I can't really see the Twinscroll spoolup benefit in the graph. It's not like it's making boost a lot earlier than a single scroll version or am i overlooking something ?

Hi,

the only reason we have produced a twin scroll version is that there are no upgrades out there for vehicles fitted with them.

We can now offer for the JDM owners .........

SC 36 billet twin scroll
SC 38 billet twin scroll
SC 40 billet twin scroll
SC 46 billet twin scroll

These are now avilable with a custom twin scroll housing for an extra £150.00 no longer a need for an exchange housing.

cheers

Watch this space.

Fingers crossed there'll be some SC54 figures for you to have a look at in the not too distant future!

Hi,

trust me, I am one of the biggest optimists out there, so much so I decided to take a flyer and build up one of our 2.1ltr stroker kits then fit it with an SC36 Billett, just to test both products.

Last night at 9.o clock we took it off the dyno with an amazing 437 BHP and 430 ftlbs of torque, admittedly it was a 20% meth mix but what a stunning combination.

On the road it was data logged showing 1 Bar of boost at 2800 RPM, and 1.6 bar at 3000 RPM all pulling in 5th.

What a stunning result for a budget priced turbo based on a billet 16G wheel.

Graphs to follow tomorrow.

Cheers
Kev

Hi,
to be fair its nothing special, just a standard M plate wrx with one of our stroker kits and a set of "in house ported" standard headers, I know the inlet manifold has been changed but again it was only a cheap thing.

I will post up the full spec tomorrow as I am not sure without asking the boys.

Cheers

Kev, did you decide to try this following our pm conversation, or was it just a coincidence?
As we are both optimists, next time you get the urge to "take a flyer", cant you stick one of your 2.1`s into mine, a few other carefully selected goodies and your sc46twin,,,,,,prettyplease.

Will you be testing the

SC 38 billet twin scroll
SC 40 billet twin scroll
SC 46 billet twin scroll

on 2.1's as well? would be worthwhile considering how many are on the go nowadays.

Would be interested to see how the sc40 and sc46 perform on a 2.1l. I'm building one at the moment and still not sure which turbo I want.
