Hi,
standard STI 8 with SC42 Billet, K&N ind kit, Syvecs ECU and a set of GT spec headers.
Car was already fitted with an uprated fuel pump and a de cat exhaust system, arnt they all.

Customer reported a massive hike in power, words like "bonkers quick" and "cannot believe the difference" were used, as a bonus the car is far more economical on cruise using less fuel on his trip from here to Norfolk which he does weekly.

Cheers

have run a car is 4th and then redone the gearing info and run it in 3rd and power was within 1hp.. Sometimes find with a reasonable high powered car or one that comes in particularly hard it will wheel spin in 3rd.
4th has more load so tend to find you have less adjustment to do to the higher gears on the road after, but 3rd is over quicker so stresses the engine less in theory.. also depends what ratio 6speed... the hawk/forester/hatch gearing is similar to a 5spd uk 3rd gear in 3rd.

makes very little difference..

Would running the car in 4th have helped and does the aggressive strapping down of the car skew the results,as running with loose straps is commonly known to give a higher than normal figure.
My 6 speed is a 2005 DCCD WR1 box which has the closer ratio JDM 1st to 4th gears and uk 5th and 6th gears,or so im led to believe.
1) because when I tweak on the road I don't fancy doing 150mph to check the map
2) higher loading on the engine will show up det, turbo spool control and duty numbers and any other problems
3) straps don't need to be so tight so less mechanical friction and stress
Power should be the same in all gears on a Dyno dynamics. Dyno is most accurate between 30mph-120mph roller speed.
I try and map rally cars in 5th gear if they aren't too long geared.

Hi,
we are not offering upgrades at the moment and to be fair your version one GT35 Billet has proven its potential.
If you want the latest version of the billet wheel we have them in stock, there will be plenty takers for your original one I am sure.
Price is still the same as they were when introduced at £1225.00 + vat.
Cheers

As you know Simon my car with 6 speed fitted spun the wheels badly in 3rd gear on the rollers when we mapped and had to have the straps tightened 3 times to stop it,it was down so tight it looked like there was a body in the boot and even kev commented how low in the rollers the car looked when he came for a look.

Hi,
we have worn out the rear rollers for the second time, hence the slipping issue.

New rollers here and ready to install, £3500.00. ouch.

Kev, what's the A/R, and also the cm^2 area of each of the 2 entry ports of the 'first gen' SC42 Billet Twin Scroll? And also, the same Qs for the super duper new SC42 B/T.S.?
Also the same Qs for the SC46 Billet T.S.?
