i think i can use the touch up pen on it, wiped it clean and there are some black dots of the plastic showing.

there are a bunch of retards that cannot drive transit minibuses at the back of my place, they almost took the rear shutter/doors off once, when i asked them were they sure, 'she' denied it, so i asked he why half the wing mirror was hanging in our doorway and the rest of it flung forward on the van?!?!?


its take a risk on the corner off street off on the main road bumped on the kerb


used to have a nice car park but there are 3 houses now it it place




have just modded my bumper vents, filled them with black matte vinyl, took the time to make a template so it fits nice but a real bugger to get in the exact position to start with.

i just aint been well enough to do it lately and time before its just been hammering it down.

the roads i use to commute are all currently used by dumpertrucks from building sites so the car is dirty 2 minutes after washing it

 

wow.....the bumper vents came out really good.....

 

The car was in for a few days for a "few bits" and all were fitted without any fuss as ever by my local dealer - Ian Grieve Subaru, Falkirk (Scotland)

Unfortunately I have had to hand back the car which must surely give the Impreza Cosworth a run for it's money - the 1.5R Impreza which makes the performance of my car seem like it has broken down on the road :P

Car drives well, handles well and sounds better too. Well worth the effort.

Also had the STI Quickshift fitted on the car too (which is very "snicky") and due to get the Interior Dimming Mirror done when one backorder part comes in.

Feels like a different car with the 18's, PPP, Quick Shift and Spring Kit & Settings.

All recommended.

It seems very good - not ridiculous small movements and it is pretty much the entire top section of the linkage judging by the bits I got back - from the gear shaft down to the gaiters and the link underneath...

If you want I'll get a pic of the old one in the box for you?

How much louder is it than the std ? a bit/noticeably/extremely ???

Did the shortshift make gear changes stiffer and more difficult?
I remember I test drove a GB270 and the throw was good but found it much stiffer than a normal WRX one.
How much did it set you back? PM if you prefer.

Not found that at all - the difference is very subtle and it's not the same mechanism as before I believe (which was a single pole replacement or whatever it was).

It is a bit stiffer but feels more positive and less "wooly" if you get my meaning.

Quick shift Gear Change (6MT)<br><br>

Quickshift is £275.87 (list price) and the labour was something like 1.5 hours - my labour cost was £94.50 + VAT. All of that is minus my SIDC discount so maybe around £350

I reckon the STi back box will go on my WRXD, just wondering about the best way to get a 'hole' over on the left hand side of the rear diffuser for the extra pipes to exit.. Does anyone know if the WRX rear diffuser is removable? Or if the STi one will fit??

 

I'm not sure about that 1 HKP, I'm sure the pipe routing is different.

 

I need to look closer in the dry Simon, but it looks like the Diesel back box is the same as the petrol WRX.... If so the back box will go on as Paul did it on his WRXS.. The lack of hole for the left pair of pipes is the issue!

We're only talking axle back though as the front section of the exhaust, manifold and cats are definitely different!
