That mirror fix is genius, considering the difficulties with NLA. Mine is getting a bit rachety.
Another thing my driver's mirror has always done is to randomly fold forwards when turning the ignition on. It then has to be retracted, and set out again.
Just another little quirk, like the interior fan that hums on ignition.

Did he actually fix it as I didn't see it actually fold on camera when he tested it. All he checked was the mirror glass movement ??

That's true Don, I didn't see him test that either.. just the drivers side!
Didn't show how to get that motor apart.... I found a Citreon guy do it on a similar mirror .... really fiddly / pain in the butt, press out the bushes or similar!

I'd guess mine just needed the worm / screw OR the large cog as shown!
