Really make you want to run out & buy British
I take it when they import the cars they strip all the goodies out & keep the cash......... probably for their Xmas do

Annoyingly if it want for a UK lad called Mcrae then would they be in such a strong position in this country?

I have everything above apart from the heated screen & seats..... strange as it gets cold in here too

they was going to , so i heard, a 400 bhp hatch by prodrive but it was going to cost too much due to the piston change and other mods so ended up on the scrap heap

Well Dunc's just mapped mne and wow it's running like a dream and pulling like a trian

Stuck to a peak 1.3bar map, which is circa 340bhp we recon... but totally transformed performance, nice and smooth and rapid as you like.

I might take it to a rolling road one day and get the true figures... not that it matters but it's great for pub talk!
now I need the fast road geometrey set up

Well done scooby L, have been talking to Duncan this week about mapping mine, hoping for simalar results to you as I think we have same mods, or will do very soon. Hopefully ben done mid/end March when he is South next.

Funnily enough I had my geo set up last weekend as just fitted Prodrive springs.

Is it really that noticable and have you has a go in a 330s or PPP'd hatch as would be good to know a comparrison.

Cheers
A

I've not driven a 330s unfortunatly, so I cannot compare... I'd imagin they're both like for like, maybe slightly more torque in mine due to Dunc allowing more boost low down?

The mapped car compared ot the original map... no comparison... smoother, faster, more controlled boost and revs to red line (still pulling hard)... Dunc's left it purposely rich at redline... just to be on the safe side

He did like the car though.. after every s# run we both had a laugh at how well it went and he commented how good the hatch is...and the Recaro's went down a storm.

At the start of the tuning I was "foot in the carpet" for the whole mile and a half run (slight incline with medium bend 2/3rds along, then crest and medium right before breaking for the roundabout)

By the time Dunc had worked his magic I was having to lift off before that bend... (things were getting a bit quick).. Dunc wondered what I was doing till he noticed the indicated speed

Great to meet you too Dunc .. had a real blast (literally)

Yes those holes can almost be spotted from space.... good job it's a road I do not need to use regularly.

Ohh and the over-run pops on lift off is I keep finding motorway bridges to blast under with the window down...

Cheers Lee

Iain was trying to pursuade me to have his CAI but in the end I wanted the car to still "look" standard under the bonnet... plus we have a dip in our lane which sometimes floods up to 12"... and the OEM airbox and intake are nice and high...

Full de-cat on the cards, you got bored of the extra power already!?

My hatch is about to be sacrificed on the family altar as we need a more family orientated transport. I'll be getting a trade in offer from the garage shortly, but if any of you are interested:

2008 08 Sti Type UK Hatch, Grey

19,000 miles
PPP fitted with certificate
Whiteline ALK, and 22mm ARB's front and back, covered 500 miles
Fast Road Geometry Set Up and above by Slowboy Racing
New Goodyear F1 Assymetrics all round, covered 500 miles
Subaru Mudflaps
Front and Rear Parking Sensors
Window Tints
New Ferodo brake pads all round 500 miles
Had 20k service carried out at 18,500 miles by Slowboy Racing

I love this car, but my family comes first. I am looking for high teens. The car has no finance on it and has been owned by since new. The door cards have taken a bit of wear from, but otherwise the interior is clean. The paint work could do with some TLC, as it seems that there was more grit than salt coming out of the gritters over the past few weeks.

I'll be posting in the relevant section shortly once I have some photos sorted and the car has had a good clean.

I was not sure if I would just trade it in as is. As by the time I pay for the suspension upgrades to be removed, and pay for new bushes, I can't see that I'll make anything by selling the bits. Really worthy upgrade though.

Default Kenwood DNX-7200 SAT NAV complete install FOR SALE

I am selling my complete Kenwood audio and sat nav upgrade which I had professionally removed from my 09 STi. This is the very respected double DIN DNX-7200, and comprises of the following:

Kenwood DNX-7200 DVD/CD/USB/SAT NAV head unit - immaculate screen as I have had a screen protector fitted since new (cost £725.00)

Kenwood BT-200 Bluetooth Module - this is the latest module, so supports most new phones (cost £99.00)

Kenwood GTM-10 Traffic Module - picks up live traffic information which can be used to reroute around traffic (cost £99.00)

Wiring adapter and steering wheel control module for 08+ - difficult to source (cost £45.00)

Genuine JDM Subaru Audio Panel - this finishes off the install nicely, as the original cutout is larger than double DIN (supplied by Litchfields - £86.00)

As this is the complete install for the hatch, I thought I would offer it on this thread first. Boxes, instructions and pass code included. I am looking for £600.00 + P&P, or collection from Bromley, Kent welcome. This is great set-up, and even improves the standard sound quality. Any questions please ask.
