A reasonable constructive day - I managed to sort the rest of my engine bolts (Bar the one that is missing from the pack 😫 ) and give her a full clean and wax. My first time with the Autoglym HD wax and got to say it's pretty good.
Also first pics with my near rear light overlays fitted (Thanks to Salsa for super quick delivery 👍🏼 ).
A few more bits to sort before Spring RaceDay and Castlecombe in a few weeks, anyone else going?
don't do it unless you want a bust nose lol
it opens just over half way.. due to the fact the cables have to hold it lower or you'd damage your roof with the extra hight put on the rear boot spoiler.

ScoobyClinic sell them btw.

Iv got wing risers aswell and they don't cause me any Agro and I'm 6ft 2" , I wanted to change the rear a bit without putting a stupid WRC spoiler on the back and I think the risers do just enough for me
Looks good to me! I'm only 5'9!b. Are the cables needed ? I read on an American forum that most people don't bother with them at all.
Mine needed the cables to stop the spoiler stabbing into the roof but they are easy to fit and you don't notice them ,, to be honest I didn't test it without them but I'm fairly sure mine would hit the roof without them
Yes did move to a bigger house, Had a Civic type R and BMW325 M Sport while there. Separated from the wife nearly 2 years ago. I've met someone else and are all settled.
Hi, bought a 2008 STI Hatch last June that was being sold on here and now lives out in Malta. Been slowly working through a few little issues and remapping it for our climate and fuel, plus wasn't happy with the map it was on (over boosting past target).
- Does anyone have any good geometry setting for fast road when running BC coilovers?
- Exhaust is a H&S 3 inch turbo back with no cats but a centre Res. I still think it's too noisy at idle and general driving. Anyone recommend something quieter/more neighbour friendly given am not planning to put cats back in?
You might need rear camber bolts to adjust the rear camber (I have Eibach ones fitted).
Also, if you like your coilovers set to the extreme end (whether full soft or full hard), then don't go right to the last click. Go to 5 clicks from the end, then a further 2 = 7 total.
