It's literally a two minute job and you'll be surprised how filthy your pollen filter will be, if I can do it quickly and easily then anyone can.

I'll be changing mind every two years from now on as I've done with all my cars.

Blinking flip what kind of a service schedule do Subaru operate, one endorsed by Mickey Mouse?

It comes under air-conditioning service which is a different service to the normal maintenance schedule. as soon as you mention that to a customer all you get is My air-conditioning works fine as it is. But as a precaution we take ours out on normal service even If it's just to inspect and advise the customer.

I do my air-conditioning yearly but the pollen filter every 2 years.

I found that 18 inch wheels made more of a difference to the handling of my car than the prodrive lowering springs. I haven't changed the rear ARBS so can't comment on those. I think most would recommend a set of coilovers rather than ARBs to improve the handling...but I suppose it depends on what you want and your budget..

I finally managed to get my hands on the Revolution exhaust system due to mate picking up the system for me from Enginetuner down in Plymouth.

I bought it and really wasn't expecting it to be up to much but thought that it would 'do' as in interim system until I had my forthcoming engine build over and done with, when I picked it up it was very grubby but I thought it might come up OK with some effort.

Well with some TFR to break down the grime and exhaust soot, and a damn good polish with Autoglym metal polish, some patience and a lot of elbow grease it has come up literally like new.

As you can see the silencer body has come up like a mirror and the tail pipe sections are gleaming, the two part centre section has been professionally heat wrapped and again is like new.

To say I am pleased is an understatement as I paid a very good price (for me that is) for the system, the quality of the system is very good and far better than I was expecting to be honest.

I was on the lookout for a Prodrive rear silencer but now I think I will stick with what I have.

Thanks Daz, like I said I wasn't expecting too much but the system was only months old when I bought it (which I was unaware of then) and with a bit of spit and polish it's come out like new.

No problem Daz, you are welcome to my standard silencer FOC if you want it but you would have to get some chrome tips for it.

Default BlackTop Aero

Hi all,

I am planning on removing the BlackTop Area spoiler from the car this evening and replacing it with the stock unit, I have seen a video on how to remove the stock spoiler so just planning on the reverse to refit, hoping the BlackTop comes off without any problems.

Anyone with any advice on fitting/removing the spoilers would be appreciated

Also, I will have for sale a BlackTop Aero Spoiler, if anyone is interested drop me a PM

Thanks

Paul
