anyone got any pictures of a diesel hatch fitted with the quad exhaust tailpipes. I,ve seen one on ebay at a reasonable price. whay mods would be required, do you have to cut out the bumper or can you replace the black trim section to one with the 2 cutouts in?

Very nice, although I'm sure I'd never fit in them.

I'm looking for a set of Recaro seats from a MY11 saloon, I do like my half leather / alcantara seats but the Recaro seats are very nice indeed.

Must admit they are a nice fit for me but if I put any middle age spread on I'll struggle to get myself wedged in lol

I've hunted High and low for best part of 6 years for the recaros. I even thought of ordering them in bits and assembling a set but they were £2500 without rails to make them fit.

All part of a bit of an idea I have. Flocked dash with custom gauge solution.

So I fancy a OMP Corsica deep dish Suede steering wheel too

You will get a multitude of differing opinions regarding oil. I tried searching on here and ended up more confused.

I follow David's (API) advice which is that, despite your handbook, 5w-40 is too thin for Subarus. I have opted for Millers CFS 10w-40 in my forged 330s. But I'm sure someone will be along shortly to contradict this.

Most people avoid these on the Hatch's as they can interfere with the air bags that are in the pillars, should they go off you could end up with a face full of gauge, best off with zero sports, STI, or fitting a single did radio and fitting up to 3 in the gap.

Yes mate they are. You'll read lots of horror stories and yes the 2.5 has had it's issues but I've had classics with 2ltr engines with lots of issues also.

Here are some update pics after some work today, a lot further to go yet plus a forged CDB engine build over the winter months.

Have a look at the above pollen filter, despite the car having a full Subaru dealer service history the pollen filter looks like it had never even been out of it's holder - the pic below looks bad but when I pulled it out there were a lot more dead insects, leaves and detritus on top of the filter. I would dearly love to know when this was changed last, my best guess is never.

Not part of the service schedule and a lot of people don't even know they are fitted

I work for a Volvo commercial vehicle dealership and the pollen filters are changed yearly as part of the maintenance / service schedule.

Blinking flip what kind of a service schedule do Subaru operate, one endorsed by Mickey Mouse?

Yes Daz I'll start with the oysters, then go into a full fillet steak with all the dressings plus a massive dessert, plus after eight mints to finish off.
