Default 2008 sti 330s

2008 Subaru Impreza Hatchback
Limited Edition 330s (Colour 02C, I’ve yet to see another 2008 330s in this colour, extras for this model, Recaro seats, satnav, Prodrive Exhaust, Prodrive suspension, Prodrive wheels, Pushbutton start)
51,000 miles
Taxed Nov 2014
MOT May 2015
I purchased this in May 2013 it had two previous owners & 41,000 miles all backed up by a full service history. I was determined not to turn it into a money pit & modify the life out of it, like every Subaru I have owned since my first one back in 1998. The aim was to fit an exhaust & filter, get it mapped & enjoy it. The car runs faultlessly, & the oil is checked every week, & is always bang on the maximum marker. I like everyone else knows there are issues with the majority of the 2.5 lump, & this was always in the back of my mind before I purchased it, but no issues here. 15 months after a re-map any Mr Forrest.
Service history:
18/11/2009 @4,599 SGT Subaru.
15/11/2010 @10,711 SGT Subaru.
05/09/2011 @23,423 SGT Subaru.
10/05/2012 @33,111 Newcastle Subaru.
26/07/2013 @41562 Newcastle Subaru.
Since I have owned the car I have used a local Subaru specialist Drew Bailey & have serviced the car more frequently than Subaru’s recommended service intervals, using Millers 10/60w supplied by Alyn @ ASPerformance.
26/07/2013 @ 43646 Drews Autos
23/08/2013 @ front & rear pads replaced & timing belt changed.
06/12/2013 @46721 Drews Autos
30/05/2014 @49369 Drews Autos
26/04/2014 @48904 x4 Yokohama Advan Sport from Revolution motorstore & full alignment.
Power:
As soon as I purchased the car, I replaced the Prodrive exhaust system for a full 3” turbo back system from Revolution, replace the air filter for an AEM induction kit & had the car mapped (Shell Optimax only) by Andy Forrest for performance & better economy, it made 370/390 on the delta dash. I had the launch control & down shift blipping activated, but left the flat foot shifting deactivated. The change in performance was night & day compared to what was already the most powerful Impreza (at the time) , Subaru made. But this was a double win, as when driven like any other car I see 26-27mpg around the streets & 30-32mpg on a long run.
Styling:
With the performance sorted I added a few subtle exterior modifications, nothing OTT but just enough to finish the car off.
HT Autos Rear spats & side skirt extensions.
Side wind deflectors.
Front, rear & fog light lenses tinted.
Front grill colour change.
Interior:
Standard 330’s spec but have added a Parrot MK9200i
I have all receipts for all listed above.
Exterior:
The car is my no means perfect, how many cars that are actually used, are. The paint & bodywork are in very good condition, with the odd stone chip here & there., x2 pin dents drivers door & OSR ¼ .The car is washed & polished weekly. I did have I small incident with a curb which cracked the splitter, & scuffed the front corner of the bumper, but to be fair it’s not noticeable. One of the wheels is slightly curbed, but I have touched it up & again is unnoticeable unless pointed out.
The reason for the sale is that after 16year of being involved in the Subaru scene my priorities & interests have changed. I now commute (for the past year) to work on a bike, so the car is only used some weekends to take the mountain bikes & dogs out, & to be honest the Hatch is not very practical for a trip to the Forrest for a ride out on the bikes with the dogs in tow, & it seems a shame to use this type of car on the odd weekend as a work horse to move bikes & dogs about, & eventually will become tatty.
I welcome any inspection, as the car is mechanically 100% perfect & needs for nothing. And I have been honest as possible regarding the body & paint condition. I have already been given a good part ex offer but would prefer the car to go to someone who will appreciate it.
Price 13,000 Gbp
Possible part ex, VW Transporter, Forester STI, Freelander, Navara, L200, Discovery, Day van, small van, basically something I can ship two bikes & a few dogs around in with ease. But must be excellent condition & well maintained with low mileage
