Yes indeed, Carlab designs. they double up as a fog light and a reflector, I now run two reversing lamps up in the boot lid now

I did the same to my wife's WRX a year ago...had to replace one of the light fittings last week as it had failed. I *think* it's because I had pulled the wire too tight up behind the bumper, causing the seal to fail and let water in.

Or I was just unlucky and had one fail for no good reason.

But a good mod

Where can I source these replacement fog lamps from? That looks a much better job than the factory setup.

As both my front and rear bumpers are coming off for painting it 'should' be a relatively easy job to do, that's what I'm hoping for anyway.

I took the original wiring out of the multi plug and made my own harness which pinned into the multi plug and then routed down to the rear bumper crash bar which I then made a waterproof multi plug connector incase the bumper ever had to come off.

Squeezed a tiny bit more torque out of her with bob the other day but the aim was to just check things before I start swapping more bits out and all is ok ,, next step is fitting my injectors , fpr , rails , Fmic , full 80mm intake setup and then a 500bhp turbo iv yet to choose ,, but feels nice for now

I weakened and finally ordered one after not being able to resist.

Ordered this evening from Sumo Power and should be with me in January/February, less hassle than ordering from japanparts.com and I'm not in a rush for it anyway due to the car being off the road anyway.

They have 3 due in and I have reserved 1 so there are another 2 up for grabs for those interested.

It's only the carcass / outer section of the wheel, you remove the controls, air bag etc and put them onto the DAMD wheel.

It works out at £390 fully inclusive, you pay a £100 deposit and then the balance when the delivery is ready to be dispatched.

all in at £390 then. thats not bad al all, just been working out the japnaparts price.. £257 + £65 DHL shipping... then you need to add VAT/Duty etc (that could be another £60)

I paid £70 customs/vat/handling to royal mail when I had to pick up my R205 rear defusser and side trims.... all that lot came in just under £400 when I included that. :/ still cheaper than buying from the UK though
