I've PM'd Gary to check it still coveres everything like last time and takes into account the drop in price of the car
No not yet pal as I don't remember getting your PayPal addy from you. You may of sent it and I haven't sent you the money, I will have a look just if I have I haven't received anything as yet, confused lol
As for the insurance its such a minor difference I would still stay with them as if you need any pointers or changes etc you can just drop Gary a pm and it's dealt with, no national lines and being on hold etc... Worth the money to me
And Gary does charge you a £25 admin fee everytime you want to make a change, swapping my car over 1 week and then calling up a week later to transfer my plate over cost nothing, with others that would have been £50!
Salsa, been over my pm's and unless I'm being stupid I didn't get a message from you with your PayPal details so you must be confusing me with someone else. If you still have some spare I would gladly take a set off you so drop me a message mate, cheers

Rob is it the offset that's more important so the et35 rather than the width. So would a 8" or 8.5" alloy still sit out as far to fill the arches
the et is the most important part but you mustn't overlook the rim width as this is part of the necessary calculations
Higher offset = Outer rim lip is more in, towards the inside of the wheel arch. This equals less rim lip.
Lower offset = Outer rim lip is more out, towards the outside of the wheel arch. This equals more rim lip.
When the width of the wheel changes, the offset also changes numerically. If the offset were to stay the same while you changed width, the difference of width would be split evenly between the inside and outside. For example, splitting 1″ of width evenly would be.
1″ of width = 25mm / 2 = 12.5mm to both sides.
I run a 9" wide rim by an et35 but my tyres currently are 245/40 r18
an old picture
my new tyres are 255/35 r18 very nice tread pattern
See with the 245 will the alloy come out further than the tyre? I like when it looks like that man. I'm hopefully going to buy a pair of rota grids when I get my ProDrive GT1s sold. As a ball part how much do you think I could get for 18" ProDrive gt1s in gold with 6mm sports budgets?

Yes it will But if your looking for the stretch look a 235 would give you more alloy than tyre without being over the top.
GT1's your looking around £500-£600 depending on condition etc etc
I agree with rob if you want some Rotas speak to maggs ruislip tyres he offers sound advice and great prices!
Also rob can see you being inundated with requests for roof flap service should yours go well haha
haha No worries, I can get them through Subaru UK cheaper than japan parts only have to wait 2 weeks for it to come which is normal as it's special order and it's ready painted for my car
Guys, what tyre size do you recommend for Winter tyres on the standard 17inch rims?
Seriously considering getting some after sliding around more than expected today.
