Wash your mouth out Ryan not a chance, this thread is for the type r only now I update the project thread on 22b for the drag car. It currently sits awaiting a new clutch that can cope with the NOS as the exedy twin can't take more than a 30 shot without slipping. The twin will go in the type r now.

I just need to sell the PPG box to allow me to fund finishing off the type r

A while since this was updated but finally got the new engine in the car. Got to knock up some cooler pipework etc still. Turbo should be on the way from Scoobyclinic soon so not long now before I can get it run in.

Little more progress making up cooler pipes, used my gt35r to mock up pipes as turbo will arrive next week. Fitted oil cooler pipework and relocated water header tank and started work on swirl pot set up.

Very productive day trying to finish type r. Came unstuck with downpipe though, knew it needed cutting and welding as for a 5 speed but did not realise the v band fittings didn't match ! Garrett housing is 90mm and downpipe fitting 85mm. Calling Alyn

Some pics of progress

Well finally I have a running car ! Got another wastegate from Mikee to get me up and running as part for mine is nowhere to be found in uk. There were loads of little jobs to sort and put the front end back on but all done now.

And a start up from cold.
