Very similar apart from V6 heads (mine are 4), think he has wilder cams than my DH22's and he has phase 1 inlet (so do I now) and verniers (I am on standard pulleys). I don't know of any 35R that has done more than his 665, thinks Mike L's billet 35 did 659 ? It's one hell of an impressive result !

Got there car back up and running today
Topped the water up again, fitted the power steering reservoir and pipework and secured the header tank and fitted pipework. Then went round checking everything, cable tie where needed etc and made sure bolts, clips etc were all tight. Turned it over and it sprang back to life

Mapped a 2.5 just prior to Japfest this year that made very similar power to Simons with a smidge more torque. That was equipped with a 35R .82 from TD and Cosworth heads and cams. It made 665bhp and 620lbft @ 4500rpm on Sunoco MAXNOS race fuel, but does have the advantage of the AVCS.

The big power Hawkeye we built ran 635bhp on Vpower and 706bhp on MAXNOS using a GT35/42R hybrid. The car mentioned above made 630bhp on VPower but just 665bhp on MAXNOS. I suspect the turbo was the pinch point on this car.
As an aside Clive, are you up for a weekend in Plymouth ?
We have every year in October an Evo vs Scooby rolling road day and could do with a ringer or 2.

It is difficult to say for sure how much exactly I gained on my own car due to carrying out a rise in boost at the same time. It definitely felt cleaner on the strip and the times showed that. Will be fitting a Nitrous kit to my car this week, so keep an eye out for some spare gear boxes will you, lol.

Just back from Zen and car did very well 412bhp @ 1.6 bar. Reason for low boost is the turbo. Although it's a 321T the turbo started life as a HKS 28/35 so exhaust housing is smalled than normal, just has a 321T core. This however helps spool greatly, 1 bar by 2900 and full boost by 3500 on the road ! Now that's better spool than a 321H as Paul compared my graph to a very similar spec car he had mapped previously and our T out spooled that by nearly 1000rpm on the rollers !
Paul also got his corner weights out and adjusted the coilovers for perfect weight distribution. Car weighed in @ 1193kg with 1/3 tank of fuel

So lots of messing around to get it in a better shape and a jubilee clip in the middle to help it keep it's form. Testing showed a vast improvement, after fiddling around with the AVC-R (I hate them btw) I managed to get 1.8 bar mid range dropping to 1.6 bar
I am happy with that, needs to go on the rollers again some time to see the improvement in figures. Clive

Back to the blue car today with a trip to Zen. First it was mapped on V-Power/Meth to see what the new inlet manifold could flow. It made 606bhp @ 2.0 bar, this compares to 580 something on the old inlet.

Then in with the race fuel and result was 646bhp @ 2.2 bar, graph shows back to back with the last run in April at the same boost but on V-Power/Meth mix, so a 33bhp gain for the Maxnos. Also worth noting how high ambient temps were today compared to the April run.
Thanks again to Paul @ Zen for once again finding more power
