The irony of all this is that it's not the EU that ultimately decides on the deal, it's 27 sovereign nations and their democratic institutions.

All the armchair remainer economists here will have sweet fanny adams input on the final deal/no deal outcome. Your input influence was back in 2016. The majority of voters, voted to leave.
Parliament voted to have a referendum by majority, hold a referendum, voted to invoke article 50, passed the withdrawal bill.
So March 2019, the UK will of left the EU, with whatever deal/no deal that has been agreed in parliament.

o that and working without the need of the eu

80% of the UK exports to the EU are services......but services will simply move if need be e.g. Financial services....big banks and trading houses will move to Frankfurt if needed and the EU know this so they will not need a trade deal to make sure these services are kept

Lol...what a sh1tty, childish answer......Trump must be your hero. Buying something from someone is one thing...…..but for that something to be worth a trade deal is another matter completely. So, what are your items that you think are worth the EU giving the UK a trade deal?
so your saying we buy alot more from the EU than they do from us?

Didn't call you any names...… Jesus Christ do you read your responses before you hit reply? Saying an answer is **** is not the same as saying you are ****.
I am saying that 80% of exports are not physical, material items....they are services such as banking and information. Which can be very easily moved as the EU know that the banking houses will move if they need to. If the EU said all EU banking services now need to be run through an EU domain it would take about 42 seconds for the big service providers to start preparations to move.

well you seem to be the group that are convinced were going to stop all trade and the country is going to collapse and were doomed were doomed

Any overall detriment to trade will hurt us more then the EU.

Your reasoning is killer. Pretty much everything the UK has that the EU want can be moved to the EU. The EU know this so would not create a trade deal as the EU would not need a deal. They would just say "from now on all access to EU financial systems will go through Frankfurt" and then every big player would leave london for Frankfurt.

No, what I'm concerned about is we are leaving the EU for the wrong reason (immigration; our government control immigration policy not the EU) with no clear approach as to how we are going to trade outside the current agreements with have as part of the EU.

People are either over egging the up sides or the downsides depending on their perspective and the reality is i suspect things wont change much. I seem to remember last time i went to france i had to take and show a passport (going back a few years mind you)
What we do know is people trade with the EU without free trade agreements, borders work without free trade agreements or free movement agreements.
We import and export goods from all over the world so systems can be put in place that work.
There will be some short term turmoil, but i don't think long term it will change much.
