This is the precise version I bought - it gives the best light:

(I also tried some other bulbs with even more SMDs on the front and down the sides...but they were NOT as good ).

You'll need to wire it into the lighting circuit. Then it'll only light up when you turn on sidelights or headlights.

Hey guys.just found this thread & have purchased the very same gauge & was wandering if o2k2 & Joz would maybe go into some more details about fitting? Particularly how to run the hose from the engine bay to the car interior & wiring in the backlight.Would be most grateful

There is a rubber grommet on the bulkhead behind the turbo which I ran my boost hose through, the illumination I used a multimeter and wired it to a wire that was live when lights switched on,couldn't tell which exact wire, from memory it was a switch with illumination.

Thanks for the reply dude😎will let you know how I get on when I get round to doing it.I have done some heavy duty maintenance/upgrade work on my beloved Subaru recently and still have a lot of other parts to go on it very soon.Spent over £100 on oil alone.🏎
