I forced no one to agree with me, I simply stated the fact on this thread that in English literature, Shakespeare is most well-known and spelt as 'Shakespeare'. It simply cannot be disputed despite many variants of his name existing in some texts.

I don't even regularly pick on people for their spellings, because people matter to me, not their spellings. I only do it for banter on occasions. Ok, Chris took an offence of me correcting him, and I can give him the benefit of doubt, as he's new here, and doesn't understand my humour. But you, on the other hand, picked up an argument with me for nothing at all. I said nothing personally insulting to you, to Chris or to anyone, but you felt compelled to go as far as psychoanalysing me, my life and my circumstances that you know sod all about.

The point I've taken is that you are a bully who likes to shut people up by giving them a bucket load of personal insults. That's what you are. Thanks for establishing that.

You do it with James Taylor as well. You keep saying that he copies and pastes. No matter how much he disagrees with Islam and bangs on about his Jesus, has it ever made sense to you that his C&P and non C&P comments are often very relevant and spot on, on many other topics?

Take a note that your bullying was absolutely uncalled for; on this thread.

Grow some sense of clean humour than a bitter one, if you want to help yourself. If not, keep taking offence of the little most thing, and kick people about with personal insults with your 'mentally challenged' stance.

As for ditchmyster he is setting the bait and your taking it, you seem to be getting a bit excitable and taking it personal. I can't really blame him for doing so because its just so easy for him and it would be wrong not to.

Every time you reply your just giving him exactly what he wants. Just leave it be and move on, you will never win as you've already lost.

Chris, good to know that you took no offence. I really didn't mean to put you down and judge you for your spellings, man. I'm not that type.

If, to you or to anyone else, I look like having lost, so be it. It really isn't about winning and losing, is it? Not for me. It's about how far one goes with over something as little as a discussion and banter on the language. I've won nothing, and lost nothing. I stated the fact and I stand by it. Ditch called me a dog with bone for that, he called me passive-aggressive for that. You may not blame him, but I do- for going too far with his bullying. We're not in some school playground, we're adults. This sort of communication is nasty and vindictive from him. He went as far as psychoanalysing me with personal insults with his nasty streak of 'baiting' me, and you don't blame him for that? Ok, up to you. But I am entitled to say what I think of him for doing all that i.e. he's not a nice man. I have done that. No winners, no losers. That's not why I come here for. I come here for a bit of banter with nice and like-minded people, not to be chased by baiters and trolls. Anyway. All done.

Mind you, there're many bright kids out there doing double honours degrees, not just her. One of her super bright mates has just been offered PG scholarship in Computer Science single honour, but this widely travelled boy would rather travel more of the world first than add higher degree to his bag right now. So, he's actually coming along with us to go places this Summer.

I'm still very proud of my kid.
