Most Haunted?
I love watching Most Haunted for thr sheer entertainment value, even though most of the time nothing happens, when some cat farts in the next room, you've got to love their reactions: "Arrrgh, Arrrghh, Arrrggh, f*ck, f*ckin 'ell, f*ck, I'm outta here...."
But last nights at the brewery- if it was genuine, was quite impressive - the stones being thrown, the cabinet rocking, and that bloke being stuck down in the barrel room in the pitch black, while he heard that steel barrel being moved around, and then rolled towards him....... impressive or bollocks?

Errr bolocks, think you summed it up when you said "sheer entertainment". That's all it is. Just a shame they don't make that clear at the start of such programs as too many people are suckered in to beliveing it is fact.
It's all too convenient, why are the "experiments" not carried out in well lit laboratories with controlled observing conditions??
Well the real reason is because it would be obvious to everybody that it was a sham if they did this, so to avoid being caught out they "have" to do it in erry old buildings in dark or semi-lit conditions so they can conseal how they are performing the "tricks" and to make things more spooky. Seeing a barrel moving on a wire or such like in a well lit room isn't going to impress anybody.

I think it is quite telling that on the websire - when you look at the brewery write up in contains the following:
Anybody can make claims or tell stories - note there is no mention of any kind of scientifically repeatable evidence, just speculation, conjecture and personal experiences, which are notoriously subjective and open to distortion
- While walking past the same boardroom, a night watchman once claimed that he was hit across the face by something or someone never seen. He was so scared he waited outside the building until more staff arrived at 6am.
- One staff member claims that while she was sitting eating her lunch, she felt as if someone had come through the door, walk up behind her and then stand next to her. When she turned around, there was no-one there. Several others have made claims to experiencing similar.
- In the tank room, there have been several stories of a spanner flying across the room, and a kettle moving.
