Default Recommendations on show wheels?

Im looking for ideas of what wheels I can put on my blobeye for shows. The car will have a modified chargespeed splitter from the hawk on the front, side skirt steps round the side, rear spats and a diffuser all in carbon to start with. I'll also be getting the wheels carbon dipped to match the rest of the car

I was thinking something deep dish to make the car look fat but im not 100% sure now.

So, what do you think?

Well my idea is to have 18x10" wheels for the show, might not go for a staggered setup now, then when im using it on the track I'll have a set of 8.5x17"

I have no idea how them wheels got on that blob, every supplier I have checked with only does them in 5x114.3 or 5x120. Looking on the american forums some are saying there was a handful of them made at 5x100 specifically for the scoob, which doesnt help me.

some blobs are 114 pcd but im sure you can get hub convertors too.
either way they look crap and ruin the whole point of an impreza.

get some grid drifts and carbon dip them

Im not arsing about with hub conversions I just want a nice set of show wheels that I can swap with track wheels easily. I do like the drifts but I know a lot of imprezas have them and I want to create a show car that stands out

Usually I'd not condone a 'stanced' setup on a car, but if its going to be used at shows as (I assume) a promotional tool then 90% of its purpose is based on aesthetics and in that situation a 'stanced' car would draw more attention. Some people might not like it, but they'll be looking at it and at the carbon work you're doing. Just my 2p.

Thats spot on mate, exactly what I am aiming for. Once the car is finished at the shows then it'll have the wheels taken off and a new set of 17s for the road & track will be used

18x10 is too wide for a Blob non widetrack in my opinion you would have to run alot of stretch to get the tyre under the arch, or butcher your arches.
Mine are 18x9.5 et 38 so not an aggressive offset and they protrude the arch line

If you like the look of the xxr's, try and find some BBS LM 146. They are 5x100 18x9.5 et30 so will sit 4mm further out than mine which is probably just do-able without destroying your arches

I'm running 225/40/18, the best tyre for all wheels on an impreza in my opinion

1. Work Emotion Kiwami 18x9.5 probably (that's what I run) but they now do a 10" so may be that size
2. Volk TE37 18X9.5
3. Not the best picture but think they're same as picture 2
4. Rota Grid drifts 18x9.5
5. Work Emotion Kiwami
6. Work Emotion XD9 18X10 I think

Hope that helps mate
