Default looking for new wheels - but got questions ??

Hi Guys, im a newbie to the subaru marque, had a 350z for 5 years but wanted something different so i now have a 08 sti hatchback.

Im looking to change the alloys on it as i currently have the gold 19" prodrive GT2 http://www.prodrive.com/products_lev...87&p=12&i=1161

i really love the design of the wheels but i would prefer an 18" wheel so i could get a different tyre size for a bit of track work.

So my questions are what are the acceptable offsets for the hatchback and what wheels are available, i have done a lot of searching but trying to seperate the hatchback from all the other models is a nightmare and i believe there are differences to the wheels and brake set up in particular the rears as im looking to replace the discs and pads also.

thanks for any help and advice
Paul T

Have a look in the members gallery for the hatch owners thread, lots of other chat on that as well which may assist.

Hi

Just spotted this post.

We can supply all sorts of wheels for the Hatchback Impreza. If the car is the STi model you need to be careful as some wheels do not clear the Brembo calipers.
With regards to offset, this will differ from make to make of wheels. Anything down to ET35 is fine for these cars.
We had a hatch STi as a demo for a while and had a few different types of wheel fitted in the time we had it.

Give me a call if you like to discuss what is available and fitments etc for your car.

Thanks

Keith

I'm running 8.5 18 +35 Speedlines on mine, depending on type profile the fronts can rub on the inner arch a little when in reverse and on near full lock.

I thought he was asking about Scoobs?
Isn't the above a pic of a Rover 25?
