Default 18" wheels on a newage wagon, advice needed

right I have problem and hoping someone can help me, currently I have a bugeye wagon running on 18" wheels these are ET 48 and 7x18 unfortunately due to a nasty pot hole one of them has cracked and I cant buy another as they have been discontinued for some time

Technomagnesio Detroit F1's if anyone has one lurking in a shed

so anyway looking round looks like i need to buy a new set of wheels and have ended up looking at BBS CH replicas at 8x18 and Et45

so my rough workings say these are going to stick out another 15mm is this likely to clear the arch's as I'm aware the wagons a bit snugger then the saloon ?

anyone running anything similair size and can advise

Thanks all

lastly anyone want to buy 3 18" wheels

I saw those too...

Mine are ET44mm and 8 x 19 ( 235/35/19 ) and mine scuffed at the rear of my saloon.

HTH

Hi

Don't worry about it. 8.0x18" ET45 on a New Age Impreza is perfect fitment. They will sit out a touch further than the Tecnomags you have got fitted now but will still be inside the arches.
To be honest they are actually a better fit than the Tecnomags as they will fill the arches better.

Tecnomagnesio Detroit F1 - Cool wheels - I had a set of 18" on a Fiesta back in 2001!!!!

Thanks

Keith

not sure thats correct Keith as the new-age wagon has a shallower arch than the saloon and i know a customer of ours had problems with an 8" rim just catching on full load................

We have done loads of sets and never had a problem, in fact our WRX demo wagon had 8.0x19" ET40 Mille Miglias fitted back in 2005 and that had Eibach coilovers fitted too. They never caught once.....

Thanks

Cheers for the advise chaps, just had a nose at the silver ones for sale, bit pricey I think as I dont need the tyres, thanks anyway If they were Gold I may have been tempted

so the general consencus is it should be ok ?? half tempted with Rev Milleniums as well would really like Turini's but cant justify them really
