Default Tyre Size Question

Hi All,

Can't seem to find a previous thread in relation to this, so could I get some opinions on a potential tyre size change please?...

I have an MY05 WRX currently running 225/40/18s on Inovite Readlines with Prodrive springs. I'm after a more aggressive look and handling so I'm looking to fit some coilovers and want to bring the profile down to 225/35/18s; anyone else running this kind of set up?

Is it ok, or does it mess with the gearing?

Cheers,

Wells

If you want aggressive look,go for ROTA alloys with 245/40 18.

Ok, had a look... they do some nice rims.

What about the suspension... stick with the Prodrive springs or move to coilovers too? Won't moving up to 245s scrub out if I come down anymore?

If don't want the 245's,you can stick with 225/40 R18,but these you may/must stretch tyres(here you can ask Maggs, which selling ROTA's for really good prices or other makers for good prices too, just contact him/PM him)
Something like this

About the coilovers, you can go with lowered springs too(H&R are good or Tein are good)..
