Hi
Any views on what tyre type is best for a standard car running on standard 16" MY00 wheels?
Also where is best to buy in Leeds/Bradford area and prices etc.
Cheers.
David.

I believe they charge £79 for Toyo proxies 205 50 16
not connected just some-one I phoned when I was looking
also do a search for tyre prices or something.
Not sure what they are like on 16" but 17"'s are pretty good. better than P zeros I used to have

Thanks Steve.
Are Toyo proxies the same tyre as Toyo T1 - T1's have good comment on another thread.
Goodyear F1 seem well thought of - anyone got prices/places for them ?
Ta.

the full name is toyo proxy T1-S
the same that everyone raves about.
I'm converted. got a good Tread wear of 280 too.. so should last a while.
there seems to be lots of people who like Goodyear F1 but not tried them myself. I think from what people have said is that the Toyo's have better dry grip than the Goodyears. Tread pattern looks similar Tho.

To reiterate Steve_s.....I bought my wheels & SO2's from Motorsport on Armley Road, not only were they a very good price, the service was excellent. The guy informed me that I had the wrong width tyres for my existing wheels which came with the car
hence loads of kerbing, mind you they were GOLD Speedlines so no loss there then![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
