I have come into possession of a JDM Subaru EPC from 2018 however I am not able to get it working properly.
I have installed Applocale and no matter what I do I am not able to get it working.
Im willing to rip the DVD and share the file if someone here is able to teach me / us how to install it.

Around about 2018 Subaru moved form SubaruFast 2 to Subaru Fast 3 which still uses Internet Explorer as its base.
Try to install / run it on an air gapped Virtual (Hyper-V) Windows 8/8.1 machine that retains IE instead of Edge.

I have managed to create a Hyper V install of Windows 8.1 however the EPC requires .Net Framework and even though I have internet connectivity on the VM, .Net fails to download the required files.

 

Is .net (Netfx3) not on the cd ?
Try downloading on another pc and transfer using usb flash drive.
If you can translate the attached may help.
It does say in one of the pdf's that it would run on Win10 with edge but edge tries/suceeds to remove IE eventually hence using 8.1 and no network.

Hey Don, you are right .Net is on the CD. I have managed to clear that part and went on to install the App. I did not use Applocale and the app opens with an environment error on (1) Page option. The app crashes and.closes if I accept the error. IF I quickly type something in and hit enter, the app stays open but when I search my chassis number the translated error says vehicle is not registered. GDB038789
It's a GDBF4KH.

THe frustrating part is got to the exact same state of operation on Win10.

None of the other features of the software open.

I created the Subarudt folder but am not clear which files I need to copy in or if I need to unzip anything etc.

The CD came with a pdf but I underesimatted the difficulty of this install so I will likely have to try again.

 

If I remember correctly, the SFFASTW.INI file in c:\ SUBARU2 was missing some data points.
