Wheels that fit classic MY99
OK, I know that after a certain age they changed the stud pattern on the scoobs so that the standard wheels of later cars wouldn't fit the classsics. What point did it change? Will bug eye wheels fit MY99 classics?

Wheels off of any scoob both standard Impreza and Legacy will fit with the exception of 15"s and 05 sti wheels. The 15"s won't clear 4 pots and the 05 sti wheels have a different stud pattern.
The problem is that some aftermarket wheels don't clear the 4 pot caliper.
Hope that helps.

So basically all Impreza and Legacy wheels 16" and above will fit classics except for 05 STi cars.
Didn't realise it was that broad a range. Seen a few blob eye 17" wheels going cheap but didn't think they'd fit wish I 'd posted this sooner!

be careful of 16" subaru wheels as even though they have the diameter they don't have the rim clearance for the 4pot................even some 17" 'prodrive' speedlines don't clear..........

They don't I think because of the spokes. You have to be careful with certain aftermarket wheels not because the dia of the brakes but because of the 4 pot calipers. I can't remember the exact name of them but I think they are the twin 6 spokes that don't fit over 4 pots

Plus the other type of 16" speedline (McCrae) dont fit over the 4 pots.
I have seen the twin spoke speedline wheels 17" (as shown in Pauls picture) fitted to a car using 4 pots. But spacer were used to clear the caliper from hitting the spokes.
