Tyre removal prior to wheel refurb
I am getting one of my 18" alloys refurbished. Companies seem to charge a fortune if the tyre is not removed, so I was going to try and get the tyre removed first.
Would companies such as kwik fit etc remove the tyre for a small fee, just like they only charge a fiver for fitting a tyre if you supply your own?

I think most tyre companies charge a bit more for removing 18" tyres.
I dont know why? But I had the same problem when trying to find a tyre outfit that would remove mine cheap. Prices from £12 to about £8.
Cheapest place I found was £6.00
I would just check with kwik fit, let them know your coming back to have the tyres refitted & balance once there refurbed.
