Much prefer the S02pp's to the S03, but are really hard to get hold of now.

SO2 pp's were fantastic, the SO3 exactly the opposite.

Any SO2 is now 3 years old.

Try the proven good tyres from Toyo and Goodyear.

I wouldn't have said the S03's were that bad tbh- I prefer them to the Toyo, but that's just my humble opinion. The Goodyear is an excellent choice.

They still make S02's for Porsche, not sure about the pp's though, and they don't seem to have quite the same characteristics.

I've just bought 4 SO2's in 225 40 18, and they are still making them in that size. They are better than the SO3's

I had SO2pp on my company 99UK turbo, ran 32 K miles on the set, straight as a die.
Fitted SO3's straight after and had tramlining, poor dry/wet grip, but must admit they drove well in torrential rain dur to the dramatic water channels in the design (instead of rubber on the road!)
Had Toyo TS1 on my Sti v3, raced on them too and thought them a substitute for SO2, even look the same.
Now running on Kumho V70's but that is another story..
