Question REAR DISC BRAKE TRANSPLANT

Hello,
I have a 97 sport with rear drum brakes . I am thinking of transplanting the rear disc brakes from a wrx onto my car. I have been told this is possible, but I am not too sure how. I was also told I would have to replace the whole rear strut? Can anyone offer some advice on this please. Would the cylinder also need changing and would this affect the front brakes?

Thank you all!

Not too sure about the sport mate. But!, try Ian Godney for a bit of advice. He is generally good at recommending the right gear and may even be able to supply.

His company is Godspeed racing

and his contact details are on his site.

Hope this helps.
