Had greenstuff fitted when I had my big brake conversion done about 6 months ago.I d'ont do track days, but was wondering if DS2000's would offer anything extra.I do manage to start to get a little fade on a heavy country road blast and was told this was probably a pad issue.
ps,system is AP 4 pots with 310mm Wilwood crossdrilled discs at the front and standard STi 2 pots at the back.

Hello mate

I would say that if you are thinking Ferodo that DS2500 or DS4003 are probably better compounds than 2000.

The 2500 is a bit special. Tons of retard, acceptable dust and fair wear!

Cheers

Trouser,

I have been wondering about DS2500 but not many Scoob owners seem to have tried them, your comments seem favorable, is this the case? Do you have first hand experience of them on the Impreza?

Do TSL sell them? And how much are they?

(Email me the price if you don't want to be seen to be advertising, I am looking to order some new pads this week).

Andrew, I am using 2500's at the moment. Great braking from cold, no squeel, but plenty on dust, which comes off with water.
